What a French Rabbit Got To Do With Telling Time?

This is no ordinary toy rabbit. It’s a super-geek, high-tech, toy. It not only tells time, it can also read the latest news, stock quotes, blogs, and your email. Other people can also send your rabbit messages. When turned on, it communicates with your home wi-fi router. From there, it connects to the Internet. To set it up, simply go to nabaztag.com and sign up for an account.

The ears are very animated. There are also colored lights embedded in its body. People are dressing their rabbits up in various outfits.

Ultimate toy for a geek like me. :-x

Elgin National Watch Company Poster

Elgin

Fans of antique wrist watches should have heard of Elgin. While searching for poster for my new home I stumbled upon this poster of Elgin National Watch Company, Elgin, Illinois.

This poster is available for purchase at all-posters.com. You can find it by searching for ‘elgin’.

I’m not sure whether I’ll get this poster though. There are simply too many choices there! Besides, it looks like the kind of picture you see in a law firm. LOL.

I am tired of moving...

Tissot T-Touch Trekking

I am getting tired of moving around every one to two years. So much so that I had decided to buy my own apartment. I will get my keys next Tuesday. Finally, a place to call my own.

I have been spending the past weekend finalising my apartment renovation and furnishing budget. I would say 80% of things I need to buy were bought. Come next Tuesday, I will start to clean and paint the apartment. I have decided to do it on my own because it is much much cheaper than hiring people to do it. Besides, I’m sure to enjoy it more if I did it on my own.

There were a couple of watches that I saw recently that interest me. One of them being the Tissot T-Touch series. I really like the function of the T-Touch. In particular the one with thermo, compass, barometer, etc. I would say it has all the functions that I look for in a watch. Compass is really useful when navigating cities.

Anyway. It is late. I hope I can write more when I settle into my new place.
